1. no 2. there is a treatment for aids, which is a syndrome. Above a certain count of white cells, you are infected and you are a carrier, with no aids. There is not a cure to hiv infection. But considering that the life expectancy is improving, in less than 10 years i do hope that more than 60% of hiv carriers will be able to live like a diabetic: daily treatment, and the possibility to live as long as everybody else.
